Hi, I’m Dr. Alison Kole
As the founder of the Oak Health Sleep telemedicine program, I’m passionate about helping people discover the transformative power of healthy sleep. With over a decade of experience and board certifications in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care, I bring a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.
My journey began at Barnard College and continued with an MD/MPH from Tufts University School of Medicine, followed by specialized training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA. I am licensed in CA, NJ, NY, and GA, which allows me to offer telemedicine consultations to patients wherever they are.
I believe sleep is the cornerstone of wellness—it's not a luxury, but a vital part of living your healthiest life. My practice blends the best of evidence-based medicine, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), with holistic strategies tailored to each individual. During our appointments, I take the time to explore all aspects of your life that might be impacting your sleep, and I’m committed to finding solutions that fit your unique needs.
Beyond seeing patients, I love sharing what I’ve learned through my “Sleep Is My Waking Passion” podcast and speaking engagements. I’m also honored to serve as Vice-Chair of the AASM Advocacy Committee, where I work to advance sleep health policy and improve access to quality care nationwide.
My goal is simple: to help you wake up to a better tomorrow by making sleep a priority in your life. If you’re ready to start your journey to better sleep, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Sleep well, live well.
